Joy, a fast-casual chicken sandwich restaurant known for its sustainable farming practices, is set to open its second location in Seattle at The Deck, an Amazon-owned food court in the South Lake Union neighborhood. CEO Robbie Cape, who previously led telehealth company 98point6 and spent time at Microsoft, is at the helm of Mt. Joy’s expansion plans. The restaurant has expressed intentions to grow into more markets across the Pacific Northwest in the coming years. As part of their growth strategy, Mt. Joy will hold an opening celebration at their new Seattle location on November 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The opening marks an exciting milestone for the company as it continues to establish itself as a leader in sustainable, locally sourced fast-casual dining.
