Reports suggest that the super PAC is behind the Trump campaign’s ground game efforts but has faced issues with its tech infrastructure. Looking ahead, Musk is reportedly increasing his efforts to elect Trump and will continue campaigning for him through Election Day. He is scheduled to appear alongside the ex-president at a campaign rally at Madison Square Garden. Musk has also set up two companies, Group America LLC and United States of America Inc., hinting at potential long-term involvement in the political world.
Legal experts have raised concerns about the legality of America PAC’s plan to pay $1 million to voters, as it may violate federal law that prohibits offering rewards to entice Americans to vote. The Justice Department has reportedly sent a warning to the PAC, which could result in fines or prison time for those involved. Despite these legal challenges, Musk’s net worth has been estimated at $269.8 billion, making him the wealthiest person in the world.
In addition to his contributions to America PAC, Musk has also donated to other political organizations, including the Senate Leadership Fund and Sentinel Action Fund.
