The Dolphins and Bills will play in the first game of Amazon’s Thursday night package in the 2024 NFL season. The game will take place on September 12 at Hard Rock Stadium and will be broadcast on free TV stations only in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale and Buffalo markets. The rest of the country will be able to watch the game on Amazon. The Bills have dominated the Dolphins in recent matchups, winning four consecutive games, including a wild-card playoff game in January 2023. The full NFL schedule is set to be announced at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

In addition to the Dolphins-Bills matchup, several other games have been announced. The Packers-Eagles game in Brazil will be shown on NBC stations in certain markets and on the streaming service Peacock for the rest of the country. Dallas will face Cleveland in a Week 1 game on Fox, marking Tom Brady’s debut as Fox’s lead game analyst. Aaron Rodgers will commence the season on Monday night against San Francisco, as CBS will air Bengals-at-Chiefs in Week 2. Amazon Prime will feature a wild card playoff game and additional Thursday and Black Friday contests.

The NFL has decided to challenge the new College Football Playoff by scheduling a regular season game on the same day as three playoff games on December 21. NBC will broadcast one of the NFL games, and another game will also be played on that day with Fox expected to air it. The teams playing on December 21 will also compete on December 25, with Netflix and Amazon vying for rights to two Christmas Day matchups. Former Patriots coach Bill Belichick is set to appear early in every “ManningCast” presentation during Monday Night Football games, as well as being a regular guest on “The Pat McAfee Show”.

Dolphins radio analyst Joe Rose and preseason TV analyst Kim Bokamper are launching a new podcast called “Out to Pasture”. The podcast is aimed at an older audience but welcomes younger listeners as well. The duo plans to have guests over the age of 50 on the show, with a focus on keeping the content light-hearted and diverse. Former Heat coach Stan Van Gundy was one of the show’s initial guests. Additionally, Fanatics is teaming up with WQAM’s Channing Tindall, as well as ESPN’s Ryan Clark and Fred Taylor, for their Pivot podcast.
