Kenya Moore’s early exit from season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has left Cynthia Bailey feeling heartbroken. Kenya, 53, was suspended in June after allegedly sharing explicit photos of new castmate Brittany Eady. Despite not appearing in the new season set to air in 2025, Cynthia expressed her support for Kenya, stating she is always there for her and was saddened by her departure. Kenya appeared to address her exit on Instagram, denying the claims against her and questioning the validity of the sources.

Cynthia remained tight-lipped about the incident at the Kenya Moore Hair Spa opening, only saying that fans will have to watch the season to see how it all plays out. She praised Kenya for being a significant part of the show as the only twirl and shade assassin, expressing that there is only one Kenya and she will always have love for her. Following Kenya’s exit, producers brought former castmate Phaedra Parks back into the picture, with Cynthia stating that Phaedra is great TV and always brings entertainment to the show.

Cynthia returns to RHOA as a “friend” for season 16, with filming already concluded. She was a full-time Housewife from seasons 3 to 13 and made a guest appearance on season 15. The new season features a cast including Brittany, Phaedra, Porsha Williams, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley. Cynthia teased the dynamic between the new cast, stating that after just three weeks of filming, the girls are diving in and getting their hands dirty, promising that viewers will be in for a treat with the addition of fresh blood to season 16.

Cynthia praised Phaedra’s return to the show, noting that they both started Housewives together in season 3 and acknowledging Phaedra’s ability to bring good TV. She enjoyed having Phaedra back and adding her unique energy to the mix. Cynthia suggested that the addition of Phaedra brought an exciting twist to the season, and fans will enjoy seeing her interactions with the rest of the cast. Despite Kenya’s absence, Cynthia’s support for her friend remained unwavering, expressing her love for Kenya and recognizing her significant presence on the show.

The dynamics of the new season and the interactions between the cast members are expected to bring a mix of sweet and perhaps bittersweet moments for viewers. Cynthia hinted that the energy and drama brought by the new faces will keep viewers entertained throughout the season. As one of the original Housewives and a long-standing member of the RHOA franchise, Cynthia remains a key figure on the show, providing valuable insights, dramatic moments, and entertaining interactions. The combination of returning favorites like Phaedra and fresh faces like Brittany promises an exciting and engaging season 16 for fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
