An adorable border collie mix named Rosie, with black and white fur and red spots, recently became popular on TikTok. Fans were concerned about the reason behind her colorful specks, but it was revealed that Rosie is perfectly healthy and her spots were created using dog-safe dye by her owner, Tim Mosebey, a veterinarian. The viral video of Rosie was shared by West Lehigh Veterinary Care, a clinic opened by Mosebey only two months ago, which aims to serve furry patients while also having fun on social media.

Mosebey and his girlfriend rescued Rosie over a year ago from an abusive situation, though they were not aware of any mistreatment at the time. Rosie now lives happily with her new family, traveling with one of her parents to work almost every day and enjoying the company of two dogs, three cats, and a horse. The TikTok account of West Lehigh plans to share Rosie’s full story with her fans in the future, as she continues to gain popularity on social media.

The video of Rosie that went viral was a spur-of-the-moment creation by Mosebey, featuring him dressed in a wig as “Ordinary Girl” played in the background, to determine if Rosie could distinguish between male and female. The clip was made in a fun and light-hearted manner, showcasing Rosie’s adorable and playful personality. Despite her rough start in life, Rosie has now found a loving and caring home with Mosebey and his girlfriend, who ensure she feels comfortable and happy.

Many social media users were relieved to learn that Rosie’s spots were not caused by paintballs or any harmful treatment, but were simply a result of dog-safe dye used by her owners for fun. The TikTok video of Rosie gained over 10 million views and sparked conversation among viewers about her unique appearance. West Lehigh Veterinary Care hopes to continue sharing stories and updates about Rosie to keep her fans engaged and entertained. With her loving family and growing popularity, Rosie is set to become a social media star in the pet community.
