This week, Beyoncé has taken over the music charts with songs from her new album Cowboy Carter, dominating the Hot 100 with nearly one-quarter of the most-consumed cuts in the nation. Two tracks from the album, “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé’s cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” debuted at numbers 6 and 7 on the list of the most popular tracks in the U.S. With these high-charting hits, Beyoncé has now amassed 24 top 10 hits, surpassing iconic musicians like Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, and Whitney Houston.

It’s important to note that these figures only represent Beyoncé’s solo work and exclude her hits with Destiny’s Child, just as McCartney’s top 10 hits do not include his accomplishments with The Beatles. Along with her new top 10 hits, Beyoncé’s previous single “Texas Hold ‘Em” also re-entered the top 10, climbing to number 2 on the Hot 100. In total, Beyoncé’s new album features 23 songs that have landed on the Hot 100, with most of them being new to the chart.

With the addition of more than 20 new placements on the Hot 100 this week, Beyoncé has now reached a career total of 106 placements on the list, solidifying her status as one of the most successful artists in music history. The singer’s success with Cowboy Carter has solidified her as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry, surpassing some of the most beloved and iconic musicians of all time and continuing to dominate the charts with her infectious blend of country and pop sounds.
