Formula One stars Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso joined Aston Martin executive chairman Lawrence Stroll on the platform for a toast. The evening concluded with cocktails, dancing until 1 a.m., and guests departing on water taxis back into the night.
Despite the extravagant celebration, there were still three more days of the film festival to come. Daniel Craig was able to attend a press conference for Luca Guadagnino’s “Queer” the following morning.
