Even if they don\u2019t end up winning the championship, he gave us actual hope to win. So I thought it would just be cool to do something to honor him and what better than to literally put his face on the iconic statue of New York, the Statue of Liberty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The J.P. Morgan analyst launched the petition on May 2 after Game 6 of Round 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs, and it quickly gained momentum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt first, I told my friends, and they\u2019re all huge Knicks fans and they signed it immediately.
