That means suppliers would take the hit if an item\u2019s sale price on Amazon falls.Eric Sheridan, an analyst at Goldman Sachs, said he was also paying close attention to Amazon\u2019s third quarter when it traditionally runs a 48-hour \u201cPrime Day\u201d sales event for members of its subscription service.
