Before 2018 was out, Nunes became the promotion\u2019s first woman to hold two championships simultaneously when she knocked out fellow fighting legend Cris Cyborg in 51 seconds, adding the featherweight title to her trophy case.<\/p>\n
Nunes ran her run to 12 straight victories in the UFC, defending both championships multiple times along the way, before a stunning submission loss to Julianna Pe\u00f1a in 2021 that ended her run atop the bantamweight division.<\/p>\n
