I thought I played pretty good last game, but I looked at my DMs, and I got, like, over 100 messages from people telling me I sucked and stuff like that because I didn’t get enough rebounds.

“I think it’s definitely a little out of hand. But at the same time too, I get the point of it. Like, if you bet a lot of money on something, and you’re, like, one pick away and somebody messes it up, I understand the part of fans being mad. But it’s annoying, too, at times.”

Brown’s remarks come during a season in which betting has brought bad headlines to the NBA with now ex-player Jontay Porter being banned for life for rigging his player props.

The NBA also investigated Terry Rozier over an illegal betting scheme, but he was not found to have committed any wrongdoing.

Brown and the Celtics have four regular-season games left before they begin their championship defense, likely as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Boston is a -145 favorite at BetMGM to win the conference and owns the second-best odds (+200) — behind the Thunder (+175) — to repeat as champions.

Summarize this content to 2000 words in 6 paragraphs in Arabic Jaylen Brown has read the comments from angry bettors.
