Way to join the club.”

Patrick Ewing

“I want to wish one of the greatest New York Knicks a Happy 80th Birthday. You still look like you can get out there and ball.”

Carmelo Anthony

“Happy 80th Clyde! Wishing you a birthday as legendary as you are.”

Marv Albert

“Clyde, wishing you a fantastic 80th birthday. I have enormous admiration for all the illustrious moments in your Hall of Fame career … and how fortunate I’ve been to broadcast most of them. Also, it’s been a thrill to partner with you behind the microphone and to observe how kind and low-key you’ve always been with people who approach you. But, of most significance, keep in mind … 80 is the new 79!”

Mike Breen

“One of the great blessings and joys of my life have been working with him all these years because I idolized him as a kid and then when we became partners I thought that was just amazing. But then to have this lifelong friendship with him and basically grow up in the business with him has been just extraordinary.

“I’ve told this story, there is a poster in the house I grew up in, my mother still lives there, it’s still up, I put it up when I was around 10. Back then if you would’ve told me I would have this relationship with him all these years, I would’ve told you you’re absolutely nuts. He’s one of the most beloved sports figures in New York sports, he’s made two Hall of Fames — one as a player, one as a broadcaster. I think one of the beauties of him, one of the great aspects of Clyde is that he understands who he is in New York sports lore. And he knows there’s a responsibility with that. And the way he interacts with fans, young and old, is just so heartwarming because he knows the reason he’s so beloved is because of the fans. And he so appreciates that love. He just gets it.

“It’s annoying, because he turns 80 and he looks younger than I do. And he’s never changed, he looks almost the same since I started working with him. It’s remarkable. I think, in my opinion, these last couple of years, he’s never been better as an analyst. Every year, he’s gotten better. Like when he was a player, every year he got better. As an analyst, every year he’s gotten better. He takes such pride in that. And he also knows the responsibility to the fans who mean so much to him.

Summarize this content to 2000 words in 6 paragraphs in Arabic Current and former Knicks greats, plus his broadcast partners, share their congratulations to Clyde Frazier on his 80th birthday Saturday: Bill Bradley “I’m sorry I cannot be at the 80th Birthday Party.
