Not often that you get to do those types of things, but we\u2019re really happy that we could.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Ingles, who has played in 19 games this season, took the opportunity to raise awareness about autism.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis s\u2013t is real,\u201d Ingles said of his son\u2019s condition. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter who you are or your lifestyle, your money, whatever. Jacob doesn\u2019t really care I play basketball\u2026 He wants his dad home and every time I say I\u2019m going to play basketball, he\u2019s like \u2018Ughhh.\u2019 Which I\u2019m sure a lot of kids \u2014 it\u2019s not just me obviously.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And\u00a0 Ingles wants people to understand the challenges families impacted by autism face. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll keep doing what we do,\u201d Ingles said. \u201cWe\u2019ll keep pushing the awareness and doing what we can to help other families, but I think people just need to understand this is a real thing. It doesn\u2019t go away with money. It doesn\u2019t go away with the situation that you\u2019re in.
