I\u2019m hard to kill,\u201d Ball wrote. \u201cBut I must admit that my boys kept me rolling. Cause a couple of times, I was like, \u2018I can\u2019t do no more blood transfusions. I can\u2019t do no more operations. I\u2019m just ready to shut it down. It\u2019s enough for me.\u2019 But I\u2019m here for a bigger purpose.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ball wrote in the SLAM article that he wanted to get a message across to people that they needed to take care of their health.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom my experience the last couple months, I want to get in people\u2019s heads the importance of taking care of your health \u2014 especially Black people, because sometimes we\u2019re not trying to go to the hospital, we will try to sleep it off or say, Yeah, we\u2019ll get to it later.
