Two of those shot attempts came at FGCU since he began the \u201cRoad to 1 Point\u201d TikToks.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s missed both shots this season across six games.<\/p>\n<p>In the times that Dwyer did check into games during blowouts, there were mixed reactions from opposing teams as Dwyer hunted for a bucket.<\/p>\n<p>In a 26-point win against Stetson, Dwyer says the opposing coaches screamed, \u201cDon\u2019t let him touch the ball!\u201d as Dwyer checked in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBro, I hope you score \u2014 but it\u2019s not gonna be on me,\u201d one player said to Dwyer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the flip side, I\u2019ll get people like, \u2018If they set a down screen for you I\u2019ll go under and you\u2019ll get your shot,\u2019\u201d Dwyer said.<\/p>\n<p>The dream will go on beyond this season and Dwyer also mentioned that there\u2019s a good chance FGCU will be in this year\u2019s College Basketball Invitational (CBI) tournament, giving another chance, or a few, at cracking the scoresheet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomehow people are invested in me to score a single basket,\u201d Dwyer said. \u201cI gotta give myself another shot.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summarize this content to 2000 words in 6 paragraphs in Arabic You\u2019ll have a hard time finding a walk-on college athlete more famous than Brandon Dwyer.
