Obviously, I hope he stays, but I also hope he goes, because we think he\u2019s a pro, we think he\u2019ll do great at the NBA level.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Luis said he never considered taking part in Senior Day. <\/p>\n<p>His focus is on clinching a Big East regular season crown against Seton Hall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s win this game on Saturday,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Luis previously said he was keeping an open mind about his future.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 6-foot-7 wing, meanwhile, could be on the cusp of a major award. <\/p>\n<p>He is a contender for Big East Player of the Year, along with Richmond and Creighton center Ryan Kalkbrenner. <\/p>\n<p>The last St. John\u2019s player to win the award was Walter Berry in 1986. <\/p>\n<p>In conference play, Luis is fourth in the league in scoring (18.1) and rebounding (7.8), 11th in free throw percentage (73.6) and 12th in field goal percentage (42.5). <\/p>\n<p>Big East coaches vote on the award, which is announced on the first day of the conference tournament.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Scott is dealing with a hamstring injury and didn\u2019t practice on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>He suffered the injury late in Wednesday\u2019s win over Butler.<\/p>\n<p>Scott did return to the game and finished with eight points, six rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes. <\/p>\n<p>He will test the hamstring on Saturday in warmups.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>St. John\u2019s will be having a \u201cwhite out\u201d for the game. The school will be distributing 10,000 white T-shirts to fans in the Garden\u2019s lower bowl. <\/p>\n<p>Senior Day activities are set to begin at 1:54 p.m. for the 2:15 p.m. tipoff.
