Watt isn\u2019t backing down from a bet he made with Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, even if the NFL legend has to come out of retirement.<\/p>\n<p>Trafford and Watt made a bet in December that if the keeper went without giving up a goal for the rest of the EFL Championship season then the former defensive end would come out of retirement to play for the Bengals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Watt is part of the owner of Burnley, which plays in England\u2019s second tier of their soccer pyramid. And since the initial exchange, Trafford has kept clean sheets in 13 consecutive matches.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The former NFL defensive end and three-time defensive player of the year has been poking fun at the wager on social media and during an appearance on the \u201cDan Patrick Show\u201d, Watt insisted he would follow through if he had to.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll do it,\u201d Watt told Patrick. \u201cIf he does that, which is insane, we have 12 or 13 games left. If he does it it\u2019s insane enough and respectful enough that I will go out there and follow through. Who knows if they even want me? I haven\u2019t talked to them, but I\u2019m in shape I\u2019ll go play.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t.@JJWatt says he&#8217;ll absolutely follow through with his bet to come out of retirement and play for the #Bengals if James Trafford doesn&#8217;t allow another goal for the rest of the season.The only question?
