People are excited, and that\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Upon his graduation from Trinity College in 2016, Brian joined his father\u2019s staff in New England, where he started off in the scouting department before moving to a coaching assistant, and later being promoted to lead safeties coach in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Brian ultimately was let go by the Patriots\u2019 newest head coach Mike Vrabel, who got hired in January.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrian is a little different [than Steve], more of an intellectual guy, was in the scouting department to start off, then went to defensive assistant, so he\u2019s well-rounded in what he knows,\u201d\u00a013-year\u00a0NFL\u00a0safety and ex-Patriot Devin\u00a0McCourty said on the \u201cEye on Foxborough\u201d podcast last year. \u201cI think Brian has grown so much from coaching different players.
