Is that what\u2019s happening?\u201d the sports media personality joked.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah right,\u201d Reid replied back matter of factly.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cListen, I try not to pay attention to any of that stuff,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Several others connected to the organization have pushed back on the idea that the Chiefs have been successful due to the refs helping them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Among those included the wife of team owner Clark Hunt, Tavia, who addressed the matter in a post on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy God\u2019s grace we\u2019ve had success, but it\u2019s not \u2018black magic\u2019 or referee favoritism (look at the stats on this) \u2014 it\u2019s lots of hard work, belief, and purpose,\u201d she wrote. \u201c[Quarterback] Patrick Mahomes leads with humility and puts God first.
