The kids are back in school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of the fires, Redick added, \u201cHad this trip been three or four days after [the fires], it would have been tough, but they\u2019re in a good place. We have a lot of support both in the community and with family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Redick\u2019s sons previously were gifted jerseys from the Spurs\u2019 Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama.<\/p>\n<p>The Lakers did suffer multiple cancellations as a result of the fires but have since returned to playing games as the devastation remains to be dealt with out west.<\/p>\n<p>Kerr wore a Palisades Dolphins hat to his pregame news conference Saturday to show support for his alma mater and said he and Redick have kept in touch over text in the days and weeks since the fires.<\/p>\n<p>Kerr\u2019s childhood home was destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fires.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s gone through more than I have because he lost his house,\u201d Kerr said. \u201cMy mom lost hers. So it hasn\u2019t affected my life directly. It\u2019s more so worrying about my mom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I haven\u2019t talked to JJ in detail about where he\u2019s living, what his kids are doing, school, all that stuff. That\u2019s a lot.
