It kept him out of 13 games.<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old returned only to play two games before suffering the second hamstring injury on Jan. 2 against the Bucks. He has since missed 10 games and the Nets have gone 1-9 in that span.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it was discomfort,\u201d Fernandez said of the injury on Jan. 4. \u201cBecause at some point, I can see the difference between the first half and second half, energy-wise and efficiency. But I can also think, \u2018Well, you haven\u2019t played in a while, so, you know, you\u2019re not as fresh,\u2019 so I don\u2019t know. I have no idea, but, you know, he did a good job getting back and being ready to play.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe started great, the two games. Orlando, and being able to get back, both games were very efficient in the first stint he played. And now this injury is \u2014 I feel for him, because obviously we want CT with us, and he was doing a great job scoring efficiently. And you know, day-to-day, we want to have him around, and we will have him around, it\u2019s just not on the court. But we know he\u2019ll be back soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mikal Bridges received a welcome back graphic as he was introduced in the Knicks starting lineup on Tuesday.
