vote on the motion.On Tuesday, after Bayrou\u2019s speech, the centre-left party had threatened to vote against the Prime Minister\u2019s new government if they did not receive additional assurances.\u00a0A fractured left-wing coalitionThe Socialists\u2019 decision provoked the ire of the rest of the parties forming the left-wing coalition New Popular Front (NFP).\u00a0Jean-Luc M\u00e9l\u00e9nchon, the firebrand leader of the hard-left France Unbowed party said on X (former Twitter) that the Socialists are \u201cbreaking apart the NFP.\u201dAlthough some members of the far-right National Rally party slammed Bayrou\u2019s speech, far-right MP Jean-Philippe Tanguy told reporters on Tuesday the party will judge according to concrete \u201cactions.\u201d\u00a0Bayrou\u2019s government may live to see another day, however, the next few weeks will be marred with difficulties as the country still doesn\u2019t have a budget plan for
