So I stayed out there as long as I could. \u2026 So I tried to play that role and did what I could,\u201d Simmons said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to be responsible,\u201d Fernandez said. \u201cA lot of times, true competitors always will tell you, \u2018I want to stay in.\u2019 We talked about some other players, you got to save them from themselves.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBen, I\u2019m sure that if I asked him, he wanted to be in, but at the same time, we know where we started this summer. We know where we are at right now. We like the progression, and we\u2019re going to keep doing that.
