Everybody deserves to live,\u201d Portnoy posted on X. <\/p>\n<p>The Celtics successfully closed out the Mavericks in five games on Monday as they earned the franchise\u2019s 18th championship with a dominant postseason run. <\/p>\n<p>Portnoy led a sea of Celtics fans to chant \u201cF\u2013k Kyrie (Irving)\u201d while sitting outside in a quintessential Boston duck boat with the moment caught on NBC 10 Boston live on TV. <\/p>\n<p>The Barstool founder and media mogul also pointed to the famous \u201csign kid\u201d in Boston. <\/p>\n<p>He is now much older but still making signs, this time updated saying, \u201c22 years old, 13 parades,\u201d showing off not only his dedication but also the massive amounts of professional sports success that Boston has enjoyed in the 21st century. <\/p>\n<p>You may remember the sign kid as a toddler proudly showing off how many parades he\u2019s been to in his brief life. <\/p>\n<p>A multitude of Celtics stars, past and present, were seen with Portnoy throughout the day\u2019s festivities, including Paul Pierce and Jayson Tatum. <\/p>\n<p>Coach Joe Mazzulla and Portnoy also posed for a picture while holding the Larry O\u2019Brien Trophy. <\/p>\n<p>The Barstool founder revealed this week that he had defeated cancer in a shocking announcement after many questioned why he had a bandage on the left side of his neck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have cancer, by the way. No big deal,\u201d Portnoy said, later noting it was skin cancer. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did have cancer. I beat it.
