Over his past six games, Marte is 10-for-22 with three walks, two doubles and six RBIs.<\/p>\n<p>Francisco Alvarez went 0-for-3 with a walk serving as DH with High-A Brooklyn on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>The rehabbing catcher is set to join Triple-A Syracuse and catch back-to-back full games on Friday and Saturday before DH\u2019ing Sunday in his final tuneup before a major league return.<\/p>\n<p>Alvarez caught a combined no-hitter with Brooklyn on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPretty cool,\u201d said Mendoza, who talked with Alvarez after the game. \u201cHe was very excited about it. Got some reports from the coaches down there and the first thing they said was like, \u2018What a special guy.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was invested, talking to the whole pitching staff before the game and as the game went on.
