He struck out 44 across 38\u200a\u00b2\/\u2083 innings while allowing just 14 hits and 12 walks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s got the big fastball, which has always been his calling card, but he\u2019s gotten really polished,\u201d Boone said. \u201cAs we\u2019ve seen here these first two months, to see him hunger to get better and learn from everything that he\u2019s gone through, build a really solid routine, that\u2019s what\u2019s been really satisfying about Luis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a surprise to no one, Aaron Judge was named the American League Player of the Month on Monday after tearing up his opponents. <\/p>\n<p>He hit .361 with a 1.397 OPS, 14 home runs, 12 doubles, 22 walks and 27 RBIs in 28 games.<\/p>\n<p>The Yankees captain capped off the huge month by relishing his first career series at Oracle Park, the stadium he grew up going to as a boy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was a pretty fun weekend, getting a chance to come in here and get the sweep,\u201d Judge said. \u201cIt was a packed house, lot of cheering, booing, whatever going on. But I loved it. I loved getting a chance to be out there.
