It’s “Showtime” in Los Angeles again.
After a brief delay due to injury, the LeBron-Luka team-up that hoops fans have been drooling over is finally here.
On Feb. 10, the two Lakers stars played together for the first time post-blockbuster trade and dismantled the lowly Utah Jazz 132-113. James dropped a cool 24 points, eight assists and seven rebounds while Dončić chipped in 14, four dimes and five boards in just 24 minutes on the floor.
“I was a little bit nervous before,” Dončić said in a post-game conference according to The Post. “I don’t remember the last time I was nervous before the game. But once I stepped on the court, it was fun. And just being out there again felt amazing.”
With the victory, Los Angeles has now won six straight. After a middling start to the season — JJ Redick’s club was 12-11 on Dec. 6 — the Lakers have settled into a groove and are now 32-19, which puts them in third place in the crowded Western Conference.
If you want to see these “Showtime” Lakers, tickets are available for all remaining home games including a showdown with Luka’s Mavericks on Feb. 25.
At the time of publication, the lowest price for any Lakers home game seat at Crypto.com Arena was $106 including fees on Vivid Seats.
