Rory McIlroy’s divorce bombshell with wife Erica Stoll was put on display in the Season 3 trailer for “Full Swing” on Netflix.

The docu-series, which follows some of the world’s top golfers in and out of competition, showed McIlroy seemingly trying to escape Netflix cameras after he filed for divorce from Stoll in Florida last May.

The next month, McIlroy’s divorce petition was voluntarily dismissed by a court in Palm Beach County, Fla., where the couple lives with their 4-year-old daughter Poppy, Page Six previously reported.

In the trailer, someone says, “Everyone’s phones just started blowing up” before another person adds, “Rory’s divorce.”

It then cuts to a scene in which McIlroy is on the phone while grabbing a duffle bag out of the trunk of his car.

“The Netflix cameras are following me right now so,” McIlroy, 35, says while his back is turned to the camera.

“I’ve struggled with trying to be the best golfer, the best husband, the best dad,” McIlroy says in a confessional.

McIlroy had faced added pressure to win his first major in a decade when the divorce news broke.

McIlroy stated their marriage was “irretrievably broken” and he asked for split custody of his and Stoll’s daughter in his divorce documents — filed a day after he won the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte on May 12, which Stoll did not attend.

Another report at the time by the Daily Mail claimed McIlroy and CBS reporter Amanda Balionis were “the talk of the links.”

McIlroy and Balionis never addressed that report.

Last June, McIlroy addressed rumors about his personal life and explained that he and Stoll resolved their differences.

“There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumor is a fool’s game,” McIlroy told The Guardian in a statement they published on June 11.

“Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.”

The next month, Stoll was all smiles while supporting McIlroy at the Genesis Scottish Open following his collapse at at the U.S. Open.

McIlroy reflected on his whirlwind year and thanked his wife after he won the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai for the third straight year last November.

“I’ve been through a lot this year — personally, professionally. It feels like the fitting end to 2024,” McIlroy said while choking up. “Look, I’ve persevered this year a lot, had close calls, wasn’t able to get it done, so to be able to get over the line — I got off to a great start, and then I didn’t have the best around the middle of the round.”

Stoll has yet to publicly address the divorce drama.

Season 3 of “Full Swing” premieres on Netflix Feb. 25

It features all four of of golf’s major championships: the Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and British Open.
