Deion Sanders had to set the record straight.
The Colorado Buffaloes coach denied rumors that he’s in a showmance with television personality Rocsi Diaz, his co-host on “We Got Time Today,” a new weekly talk show on Tubi.
“Where’s my camera at?” Sanders, 57, said before looking straight into the camera in a TikTok video posted by Tubi earlier this week. “Rocsi and I, we ain’t getting it on, all right? It ain’t happening!”
Diaz, who is also a “Good Morning America” correspondent, laughed along with the audience before she doubled down on it
“It won’t happen,” she said.
“That’s my work boo,” Sanders quipped.
“And he’s gotta say that,” Diaz, 43, said.
Sanders addressed the false rumors “because everybody asks” about the pair.
Diaz also reshared Tubi’s video on her Instagram.
“When the chemistry is so good it makes people believe yall go together,” she wrote, adding a crying-laughing emoji.
“We are just a dynamic TV Duo THATS ALL !!! Watch our show on @tubi We Got Time Today @deionsanders but he do luv me…”
Sanders and his long-time fiancée, TV producer Tracey Edmonds, split after 12 years together in Dec. 2023.
“We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together,” Edmonds wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post at the time.
