On Tuesday afternoon, Jewish American leaders reacted to Iran’s unprecedented missile attack against Israel. The attack, which included over a hundred missiles, was in response to the recent deaths of Hezbollah and Hamas leaders. Ohio Republican Rep. Max Miller stated that the United States stands with Israel, its only democratic ally in the Middle East, in defense against evil threats from Iran and its proxies. Miller commended Israel’s efforts to dismantle Hezbollah and eliminate Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General responsible for American and civilian deaths along with chaos in Lebanon. Democratic Florida Rep. Jared Moskowitz also condemned Iran’s attack and expressed solidarity with the people of Israel.

Moskowitz criticized Iran’s actions and highlighted the threat Israel faces daily, emphasizing the need for America to stand with its ally against the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies. New York Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman noted that Hezbollah’s presence at the border violates the UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which was meant to cease hostilities in 2006. He called for Israel to take action to prevent further attacks from Hezbollah, emphasizing the importance of enforcing the Resolution. Former Democratic New York State assemblyman Dov Hikind called for the destruction of Iran’s nuclear sites and expressed concern for his son in Israel amid the attacks.

Former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren warned that anyone who attacks Israel will face consequences, highlighting the need for the world to support Israel in changing the Middle East by addressing the root cause of instability – Iran. The Republican Jewish Coalition criticized the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal, stating that it allowed Tehran to develop ballistic missiles now being used to target Israeli civilians indiscriminately. The Coalition also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for supporting the deal, calling her leadership as Commander-in-Chief a disaster.

Overall, Jewish American leaders condemned Iran’s missile attack on Israel and expressed support for Israel’s defense against threats from Iran and its proxies. They called for the enforcement of UN resolutions to prevent further attacks by Hezbollah and emphasized the need to address Iran’s role in destabilizing the region. As tensions remain high in the Middle East, these leaders stressed the importance of standing with Israel and taking action to ensure the safety and security of Israeli civilians.
