Alexis Bellino is speaking out about her fiancé John Janssen’s lawsuit against Shannon Beador on the Real Housewives of Orange County. Beador initially agreed to give Janssen half of the $75,000 she allegedly borrowed for a facelift but changed her mind after discovering that Janssen had videos of her from the night of her DUI accident. She then offered to pay him everything if he agreed to a non-disparagement clause, which he refused. Bellino revealed that Janssen did not accept Beador’s offer because he did not want monthly installments and did not want to be muzzled from speaking the truth about any new lies Beador could concoct.
Bellino opened up about the non-disparagement clause, explaining that the timing of the lawsuit was not suspicious as Janssen had two days before the statute of limitations on the suit expired. She also addressed Beador’s claims that she paid for everything in their relationship, stating that it was not true and that Janssen is not willing to let go of the $75,000 while being defamed for the past four years. Bellino emphasized that the lawsuit would go away if Beador simply paid the money she owed Janssen, revealing that he only wanted his money and to move on without going to trial.
Beador and Janssen dated on and off from 2019 to early 2023, and Janssen filed a lawsuit against Beador in March for breach of oral contract and promissory fraud. The drama between them has played out onscreen during Season 18 of RHOC, which premiered in July. Bellino, who returned to the show this season after appearing on past seasons, introduced her fiancé Janssen to the series after being married to Jim Bellino from 2005 to 2018. Janssen proposed to Alexis in August after less than a year of dating each other.
Alexis and Janssen first sparked romance rumors in December last year and were introduced through mutual friends. This season marks the first time Alexis and Shannon have filmed together. In a recent Instagram post, Bellino shared her excitement and love for Janssen, celebrating nine months of their relationship and expressing her excitement for their future together. New episodes of RHOC air on Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo and can be streamed on Peacock the following day. Bellino and Janssen are hopeful that the lawsuit will be resolved if Beador pays the money she owes, avoiding the need for a trial.
