A new investigation into Sean “Diddy” Combs has uncovered allegations of abuse from over 30 years ago when he was a student at Howard University. Witnesses recall Combs screaming for his then-girlfriend to come outside the dorm, where he proceeded to allegedly beat her all over with a belt. Classmates attempted to intervene, with some females running through the dorm shouting that Combs was attacking his girlfriend. The incident led to a chaotic scene with multiple witnesses recalling the disturbing events. The victim declined to comment on the allegations, and Combs’ lawyer did not respond to requests for comment.

In addition to the on-campus assault allegations, Combs has faced numerous accusations of abuse from women over the years. A viral video from 2016 showed Combs abusing his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, with kicking, dragging, stomping, and throwing items at her. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute Combs due to the expired statute of limitations. Combs released an apology video mentioning his “inexcusable behavior” and admitting he was in a bad state of mind at the time. Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs, including allegations of rape and physical abuse, but settled the lawsuit the following day. Model Crystal McKinney also filed a lawsuit accusing Combs of drugging her and forcing her to perform oral sex on him in 2003. Mayor Eric Adams considered revoking Combs’ key to the city in light of the disturbing footage.

Despite denying all allegations against him, Combs has faced a barrage of lawsuits from women alleging abuse spanning several decades. Some of the lawsuits have forced Combs to apologize for his actions, including the footage of him battering Cassie Ventura. He acknowledged hitting rock bottom but made no excuses for his behavior in the video. Federal investigators are reportedly preparing to bring Combs’ accusers before a grand jury, with sources claiming that Combs has accused those suing him of seeking financial gain. Combs has maintained his innocence in all allegations but has apologized for the incidents captured on video.

In 2014, Combs received an honorary doctorate degree from Howard University and donated $1 million to his alma mater. However, the recent on-campus allegation has raised concerns about his past behavior towards women. The growing number of assault accusations against Combs has put his reputation and career in jeopardy, with many calling for accountability and justice for the victims. The disturbing footage of Combs abusing Ventura in 2016 brought renewed attention to the allegations against him, leading to a flood of lawsuits from women alleging abuse. Combs’ actions have sparked public outrage and a call for investigations to hold him accountable for his past behavior.
