The work at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre will involve various upgrades such as seat replacement, external cladding, roof remediation, and improvements to lighting and public announcement systems. With almost half of Brisbane 2032’s minor venues expected to be out to market by the end of 2024, the upgrades at Chandler are scheduled to commence in 2025 and be completed by 2027 – five years ahead of the Games. The Australian Swimming Trials, serving as the selection meet for the Dolphins team competing at Paris 2024, will be held at Chandler from June 10 to 15.
