Real Housewives of Miami alum Lenny Hochstein is accusing his estranged wife, Lisa Hochstein, of abuse amid their ongoing divorce and defamation lawsuit. Lenny claimed that Lisa consistently hit him throughout their marriage, leading him to initiate divorce proceedings in May 2022. He clarified that he never hit back or initiated any physical harm towards Lisa, but he experienced physical abuse from her multiple times. Lenny stated that all of the accusations made against him are actually reflective of Lisa’s behavior, not his own.
Lisa’s attorney denies Lenny’s allegations, calling them unfounded and stating that they plan to prove the lawsuit is frivolous. This legal battle between the former couple has been ongoing, with the next hearing scheduled for May 30. Lenny’s claims of abuse come after Lisa accused him of abuse in November 2023, posting a photo of a bruise on Instagram and implying that Lenny was the abuser. Lenny denied these allegations and filed a defamation suit against Lisa seeking damages of up to $100,000 and attorneys’ fees.
Lenny, who works as a plastic surgeon, claimed that Lisa’s allegations of abuse have damaged his business, causing female patients to cancel their appointments out of fear of going to an abuser for their cosmetic needs. He reiterated his denial of the abuse allegations, stating that Lisa got the bruise on her arm when she fell on the stairs while they were arguing. Lisa responded, claiming that Lenny’s lawsuit is an attempt to drain her financially and accusing him of being out to financially strangle her. She suggested that Lenny is not satisfied unless he is suing someone.
In addition to the defamation lawsuit, Lenny and Lisa are engaged in a messy divorce battle. Lenny went public with his girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, whom he got engaged to in July 2023, after filing for divorce in October 2022. Lisa alleged that Mazepa was Lenny’s mistress, but Lenny claimed they began dating after he and Lisa had separated. Lenny accused Lisa of infidelity, referring to her as the “real homewrecker of Miami.” Both Lenny and Lisa have moved on to new partners, with Lisa dating Jody Glidden.
