This week, Netflix is debuting the film Madame Web, which failed to attract a large audience during its theatrical release. The movie, starring Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney, earned $100.2 million worldwide against an $80 million production budget. Despite this, it received poor reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

In addition to Madame Web, other films premiering on Netflix this week include The Cloverhitch Killer, a mystery crime drama, Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel to the 1994 comedy hit, and Upgrade, a futuristic sci-fi revenge tale. Thelma the Unicorn, an animated movie adaptation of a children’s book, will also be available on the streaming service this week.

The Cloverhitch Killer follows a 16-year-old who discovers a connection to a serial killer in his community. Dumb and Dumber To reunites the dim-witted duo of Lloyd and Harry for more comedic misadventures, while Upgrade tells the story of a quadriplegic mechanic seeking revenge for his wife’s murder. Thelma the Unicorn follows the titular character’s journey to pop music greatness.

Other films already released on Netflix this month include The Matrix Resurrections, starring Keanu Reeves, The Great Wall, starring Matt Damon, and the Netflix original comedy Unfrosted, featuring Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, and Jim Gaffigan. With a variety of genres and options available, Netflix subscribers have plenty of choices for their viewing pleasure.

Whether viewers are interested in action, comedy, or animated adventures, Netflix has something for everyone this week. From big-budget blockbusters to indie favorites, there is no shortage of entertainment options on the streaming service. With new releases and classic favorites, Netflix continues to be a go-to destination for movie lovers of all tastes.
