In today’s edition of Sunday’s Connections, players are tasked with arranging a grid of 16 words into four groups of four by determining the connections between them. Each group is color-coded with yellow being the easiest and purple the most difficult. Players must be careful with words that may fit into more than one category. Hints and answers are provided to help players avoid losing all their lives and ending the game.

Today’s 16 words include SIDE, SURFACE, BUTTERFLY, DOMINO, FREESTYLE, PLACEBO, MAKE UP, CRAWL, COSMETIC, BABBLE, EXTERNAL, AD-LIB, COO, IMPROV, SHALLOW, and NURSE. The hints for today’s groups point players in the right direction without immediately revealing which words belong in each group. The groups are based on themes like inventing as you go, activities of young children, lacking depth, and being linked by the impact of a cause.

The yellow group includes words like AD-LIB, FREESTYLE, IMPROV, and MAKE UP, focusing on inventing as you go. The green group consists of BABBLE, COO, CRAWL, and NURSE, representing activities of babies. The blue group includes words like COSMETIC, EXTERNAL, SHALLOW, and SURFACE, highlighting superficiality. The purple group is made up of BUTTERFLY, DOMINO, PLACEBO, and SIDE, linked by the effect of a cause.

One player shares their success in solving today’s Connections puzzle by identifying the links between words in each group. After initially thinking the words were related to swimming terms, the player finally figured out the correct groups, earning a perfect game and six wins in a row. Remember to check the blog for hints and solutions for future games if needed. Additionally, the player shares their experience seeing Queens of the Stone Age live and enjoying their older music during the concert.
