Official AI, a Seattle startup whose platform helps brands and talent create and collaborate on AI-generated image and audio content, raised $2 million, the company announced Tuesday.

The seed funding round was led by Pioneer Square Ventures, the venture arm of Pioneer Square Labs, along with Mudita Venture Partners and the AI Studio‬ Fund, which formed earlier this year as a partnership between PSL and Mayfield.

Official AI was originally incubated inside startup studios run by PSL and Mudita.

The company’s technology relies on secure vaults and intelligent agents to enable seamless collaboration across AI models. Authorized commercial photography,‬ video, and audio can be produced in minutes instead of months, while ensuring proper rights management and‬ compensation.

Early launch customers include athletes, musicians and others, including the Humphrey Bogart Estate and Marcus Trufant, a former Seattle Seahawks player. The company generates revenue in part through licensing fees.

The startup was co-founded by CEO Dave Siegfried, who previously co-founded a lending startup called LOANtuitive and SkyMode, a mobile e-commerce platform, and longtime engineering leader John Pletka.

“AI is transforming creative possibilities, but the key is empowering brands and talent to‬ collaborate effectively in this new era,” Siegfried said in a statement.

The new funding will be used to scale Official AI’s engineering team and‬ accelerate development of its patented vault technology.
