As the Saturday Night Live alum continues to laser off the hundreds of tattoos he’s gotten on his body, he admitted that it’ll take quite some time to get rid of his sprawling ink.
“When I’m 40, it’ll all be gone,” Pete explained on Late Night with Seth Meyers Feb. 6, “like the chest and back.”
And it’s not an easy process, either, as each tattoo requires a minimum of seven visits. “If it’s black and white, it’s a little easier,” he explained to Seth Meyers. “But if it’s a color tattoo, it takes forever.”
While most of the 31-year-old’s tattoos are black and gray, he does have some colored ink on his body.
As for which tattoo he regrets the most? As he bluntly put it, “All of them.”
“I made a lot of those decisions before rehab, so I have the dumbest tattoos,” Pete continued. “I got a collection of cartoons smoking blunts like a muppet smoking a blunt, the Tootsie Pop owl smoking a blunt.”
