Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, believes that the UFOs seen in the United States are likely part of the US government’s highly classified new weapons programs rather than extraterrestrial life. Musk stated during an interview with Tucker Carlson that he has not seen any evidence of aliens during his time at SpaceX. Despite admitting that there is much unknown about existence in the universe, Musk remains skeptical about the existence of aliens.

Musk pointed out that there are over 6,000 satellites in orbit, including SpaceX’s Starlink satellites, and they have never had to maneuver around an alien spacecraft. He believes that reports of the US military encountering objects they cannot explain are likely related to classified government programs. Musk suggested that pilots may mistake new aircraft or missiles for unidentified flying objects due to the secrecy surrounding these projects at a high level of classified information.

While Musk has not discounted the possibility of aliens existing, he has not seen any evidence to support this claim. He has vowed to share any evidence of aliens if he comes across it, stating that it would be immediately posted on the SpaceX platform. Musk expressed hope for the existence of friendly extraterrestrial beings but believes that the government would suppress this information to justify military spending. Despite recent efforts by Congress and the Pentagon to investigate UFO sightings, no confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial life has been found.

The Pentagon has investigated hundreds of sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) categorized as UFOs. The reports included drones, balloons, and other unidentified objects in the air, but none were positively attributed to foreign activities. Congress, specifically New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, has expressed interest in receiving updates from the Pentagon on UFO sightings. Gillibrand has made this a priority and expects reports on the assessment and analysis of these unidentified aerial phenomena.

The Department of Defense’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office, dedicated to investigating UFOs, has appointed a National Security official, Jon Kosloski, with a background in quantum optics and crypto-mathematics to head the office. Gillibrand anticipates that Kosloski will testify regarding UFO sightings, likely after the November election. The government continues to investigate and remain vigilant about potential threats posed by unidentified aerial phenomena, despite the lack of concrete evidence pointing to extraterrestrial life.
