Bachelorette Jenn Tran has joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars season 33 following her breakup from Devin Strader. She headed to New York City for the live announcement on Good Morning America and will be partnered with Sasha Farber. After getting engaged to Devin on The Bachelorette finale, their relationship ended soon after filming wrapped up.

Jenn mentioned during her GMA interview that she had always wanted to learn how to dance, making her participation on DWTS a dream come true. After Devin called off their engagement post-filming, Jenn struggled to understand why he had a change of heart. She claimed that Devin was pulling away and didn’t love her anymore, leading to their breakup just after their happy engagement in Hawaii.

Following their proposal, Devin expressed regret about their engagement and stated that he was checked out of the relationship. Despite not regretting the engagement, Jenn admitted that the Devin she thought she knew was no longer the same person. The former couple watched their proposal play out on live TV during The Bachelorette finale, with Jenn expressing disappointment in Devin’s change in feelings.

Jenn is not the first Bachelorette star to compete on DWTS, following in the footsteps of other former leads like Hannah Brown and Gabby Windey. This season will feature two former Bachelor or Bachelorette leads competing against each other, with Joey Graziadei joining the cast as well. Jenn spoke highly of Joey before her Bachelorette season premiered and praised his genuine and kind demeanor.

The full cast of season 33 of DWTS has been announced, with the series premiering on ABC on Tuesday, September 17. Jenn will be dancing alongside Sasha Farber and will be showcasing her skills on the dance floor following her emotional journey to find love on The Bachelorette. With her dream of learning to dance finally coming true, Jenn is looking forward to her new journey on the hit dance competition show.
