Despite the former San Francisco mayor’s denial, Trump insisted that they were together in the helicopter during an emergency landing. Brown’s attorney, Joseph Cotchett, stated that Brown is not known for seeking legal recourse but is being pushed to do so by Trump. The Trump campaign did not provide immediate comment on the matter.
Nate Holden, a former Los Angeles City Council member, suggested that Trump may have mistaken him for Willie Brown in the helicopter story. At 95 years old, Holden expressed that he and Brown are both still alive and well, challenging Trump’s assumptions about their absence.
