But with the gentle encouragement of makeup artist Sarah Hill and hairstylist Peter Lux, Ferrer went for the red carpet classic: an updo and red lip. “I would have been so scared to do a look like this a few years ago because it’s so daring and I didn’t think it could ever look good on me.” There’s another exciting thing coming out of this beauty experimentation, too: “I’m finally learning about things like contour,” she says. “And it’s never too late!
