Combinations of medications targeting various receptors have shown efficacy in treating diabetes, obesity, heart failure, and other conditions. Clinical trials are ongoing to assess their potential in managing additional disorders. As understanding of the underlying heterogeneity in diabetes increases, targeted therapies and prevention strategies can be optimized to have a broad impact across diverse populations and healthcare settings.
