In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Nicole Brown Simpson’s tragic death, her sisters and close friends are speaking out in a new Lifetime documentary titled “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.” This project aims to provide a platform for Nicole’s own narrative and voice to be heard in one of the most infamous crimes and trials in history. Featuring 50 participants, including her friends and family, the documentary promises to shed new light on her life and the circumstances surrounding her untimely death, with access to exclusive home videos and interviews revealing shocking new details.

Part of A+E Networks’ Stop Violence Against Women initiative, the documentary comes in the wake of O.J. Simpson’s passing in April at the age of 76. In 1994, O.J. Simpson was linked as a person of interest in the murders of Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman, leading to a widely publicized low-speed chase through Los Angeles in his white Ford Bronco. Despite being charged with first-degree murder following the discovery of bloody gloves on his property, Simpson was eventually acquitted of the charges. Now, this documentary aims to shift the focus onto Nicole’s life and story.

Director Melissa G. Moore has expressed her long-standing desire to share Nicole’s story, having initiated discussions with her sisters a decade ago. She reflects on the prevalence of true crime narratives centering on O.J. Simpson rather than Nicole herself, prompting her to pursue this project as a means of honoring Nicole’s memory and bringing her story to the forefront. Through the documentary, viewers will have the chance to hear Nicole’s voice, see home movies, and listen to insights from her friends and family members, including her sisters Denise, Dominique, and Tanya.

“The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” will premiere on Lifetime as a two-part documentary airing across two nights. The first part is set to debut on Saturday, June 1st, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, followed by the second part on Sunday, June 2nd, at the same time. Each episode is two hours long and will be re-aired immediately after its initial broadcast, offering viewers multiple opportunities to watch the documentary. Viewers can access the documentary on the Lifetime channel, as well as online through Mylifetime.com for cable subscribers or various TV streaming services like DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV, Philo, Sling, and others.

For those without cable subscription, many of these platforms offer free trials allowing viewers to watch “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” at no cost. Additionally, the documentary will be available for streaming the next day on the Lifetime app, accessible on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. The official trailer for the documentary provides a glimpse into the emotional and revealing journey that viewers can expect to embark on, as Nicole’s story is finally brought to light in a poignant and impactful manner.
