Chance Perdomo, a rising star known for his roles in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V, has tragically passed away at the young age of 27. His death was the result of a motorcycle accident, with no other individuals involved. His representatives shared a statement expressing the deep loss felt by all who knew him, highlighting his passion for the arts and zest for life. They requested privacy for his family as they mourn his passing.

Most recently, Perdomo had taken on the role of popular student Andre Anderson in Prime Video’s Gen V, a spinoff of The Boys. The producers of the series expressed shock and sadness over his passing, describing him as a talented performer and a kind, lovely person. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, which produced Gen V, also offered their condolences, emphasizing the devastation felt by the entire Gen V family at the sudden loss of Perdomo.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Southampton, England, Perdomo initially had aspirations of studying law before deciding to pursue acting. He trained at the Identity School of Acting in London and joined the National Youth Theatre. His breakout role came as Ambrose Spellman in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, where he showcased his talent portraying Sabrina’s cousin and loyal companion. Perdomo’s performance was well-received by audiences and critics alike.

Despite his success, Perdomo remained humble and grateful for the opportunities that came his way. He revealed that he had once auditioned for the role of Jughead Jones in Riverdale, which ultimately went to Cole Sprouse. However, creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa recognized Perdomo’s talent and cast him as Ambrose in Sabrina. Perdomo harbored no ill feelings towards Sprouse, acknowledging the actor’s talent and influence on his own career.

In addition to his television work, Perdomo had a recurring role in the After film series and appeared in several other TV shows, including Midsomer Murders and Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators. He received a BAFTA nomination for his performance in Killed by My Debt. His sudden passing has deeply affected the entertainment industry, with many mourning the loss of a talented and beloved young actor.
